What kind of clients do you work with?
American Bedding Solutions was created in 2012 with the hope that we could help others make a difference.
Our focus is almost exclusively on non-profits like yours.
Originally our focus was just thrift stores; helping nonprofits raise funds to offset their direct purchases of mattresses for their programs. We tested our idea inApril of 2012 with one single store; we now have over 50 organizations we work with nationwide. Our programs have also expanded to include direct purchasing for program needs and mattress fundraisers for nonprofits.
Is it simple to get started?
Yes it is!
We have a very basic New Account Form you fill out and send back to us. You can find the form at the link below. After that it will take 2-3 weeks and you will be up and running! No complicated contracts, just a simple solution!
Is ABS a non-profit?
American Bedding Solutions is a for-profit company helping non-profits.
We felt social entrepreneurship as a private sector company would allow us much more flexibility to be creative and find the solutions that truly worked. We are constantly looking for new ways to you in the never-ending process of raising funds to support your organization.
Sell These Mattresses For Free? What's the catch?
Great question! We get asked that a lot.
This doesn’t mean you will be giving the mattresses away of course. American Bedding Solutions has removed all of the barriers to selling New mattresses for non-profits.
We will send all of the inventory you will need, all of the signage/marketing materials, train your employees/volunteers and handle all of the logistics for you.
You have $0 out of pocket until something sells. At that point you can keep all the profits and pay us the cost of the items sold.
What is your turn around time?
For our Thrift Store Program and Direct Purchase Program it is generally 2-3 weeks for the first order. After that the typical turn around time is 5-7 business days from order to delivery.
Fundraisers involve a different process, however the turn around time from order to delivery will take 1-2 weeks.
